Twenty20
Since 2004, the Sandhurst Cricket Club, along with the Bendigo Cricket Club have played a Twenty20 exhibition match under lights at the Queen Elizabeth Oval (QEO).
The match is played for the Ron Slattery Memorial Cup and usually is played sometime in the week between Christmas and New Year. A curtain raiser is also played between Sandhurst Weeroona and Bendigo Girton for juniors 17 years and under for the Weeroona-Girton Challenge Shield.
Over the years the annual match has attracted large crowds and delivered some exciting cricket. The current overall ledger between the two seniors sides is 3-3 with Sandhurst having won 3 of the last 4.
Continual rain interruptions prevented the match being played in 2010. The sides are also fixtured to meet in this seasons BDCA Round-Robin 20-20 fixture at JL King Weeroona Oval on November 23rd.
