It has come to light that the true reason behind the early abandonment of last weekends BDCA Round 7 Week #1 action against Bendigo was actually due to the unavailability of the league's premier scorer the Giraffe.
League sources were unconvinced the league would function without The Giraffe who was laid up after surgery to fuse his ankle and the weather was not even taken into consideration at all but a convenient "explanation".
The impending return of the Giraffe well ahead of schedule has removed any doubt that this weekends action will proceed.
Someone should track down the giraffe and find out where those missing match reports are?
