WEEROONA OVAL

The wicket table at Weeroona Oval has been rotated. It now aligns closer to the goal to goal line and fits the ground much better. We are hopeful that the ground will be widened out to the scoreboard at the end of the season. Sketch plans for an extension and upgrade of the existing pavilion are currently being drawn up.

We have a much better chance of securing grant funding for this proposal which will see us share the facility with the BUA and South Bendigo JFC.

SOCIAL CALENDER

A very good night was had by all that turned out for the night at the Mexican Kitchen on 16th June. A mini-bus load went down to the AFL game between Collingwood & Geelong. It was a long ride home for Prowsey.

Our next social event will be family meal night at our major sponsor’s hotel (date and time to be confirmed), followed by AFL Grand Final Day at Sandhurst Rooms on Saturday 30th September.
